Notes
Dr. Turner joined the medical staff at OCH Regional Medical Center in 2019. Prior to coming to OCH, Dr. Turner worked with Pine Belt Anesthesia, LLC, in Hattiesburg, MS, for eight years where he was the Chief of Anesthesiology and Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology. Prior to his tenure in Hattiesburg, Dr. Turner served as the Chief of Anesthesia at Delta Regional Medical Center in his hometown of Greenville, MS, where he was instrumental in founding the hospital’s open heart surgery program.
From 1990 – 2018, Dr. Turner served as an anesthesiologist in the United States Army Reserves and served three deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a member of
the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Mississippi Anesthesiology Society. Dr. Turner practices in association with OCH staff anesthesiologists Will Carter, MD, and Lance Atchley, MD.
